This data is referenced heavily in chapter 2 of my book Theatres of Value. Here, I am attaching the dataset in full in the hopes that it will be more useful to others in this form. I compiled the Barnum database over the course of several years using the following sources:

- Documents found at the Harvard Theatre Collection in Cambridge, MA.
- Documents found at the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, MA.
- Documents found at the Bridgeport History Center in Bridgeport, CT.
- George C. Odell's Annals of the New York Stage
- T. Allston Brown's History of the New York Stage
- Joseph Ireland's Records of the New York Stage, from 1750 - 1860
